Advanced Coloration Colorist Certification Programs

Advanced Coloration is excited to offer All Licensed Stylists, Salon Owners and Cosmetology Students courses in Advanced Coloration Color as well as Hair Color techniques and application training.

Please register for the appropriate level class below. We offer 3 levels of advanced training however it is necessary to attend a Level 1 class before attending the next 2 Levels.

Level 1 Color Certification Class

Limited to 40 attendees per class

1.5 hours of classroom style instruction

1.5 hours of hair color demonstration on one process color

Topics to be taught include: why post care shampoo and conditioner are really important, general chemistry of how hair color and products work, how to cover Grey 100% the AC way and how to pick the correct color for your client and achieve this color guaranteed and general formulation rules. Even if the stylist is an experienced colorist they will benefit greatly from what they learn in this class.

Level 2 Color Specialist Certification Class (Class one attendance is required)

Limited to 10 attendees

Cost is $50.00 or at no charge to a Prestige Salon Partner, 50% off to a Signature Partner. They will be given a code to enter on the registration.

1 hour of classroom style instruction, more of a laboratory teaching method

2 hours of hands on color, highlighting and multi-processing color techniques

We cover the chemistry of hair color and the why and the what. We also teach more in depth on bleaching, hi-lifts, grey blenders, more in depth on toning, use of “NN” series for the really stubborn grey hair, and how to formulate in more advanced color situations including the use of our products joker and other special tools.

Level 3 Color Expert Certification Class (Class two attendance is required)

Limited to 10 attendees

Cost is $100.00 or as per our policy for Prestige or Signature Partners.

1 hour of classroom style instruction, more of a laboratory teaching method

2 hours of hands on color correction techniques

This class is designed to teach and make the stylist know how to correct a color problem and we will teach and they will actually do the corrections on hair samples so when the class is complete they will have had 3 hours of hands on color correction training.

Registration will close 24 hours prior to the class date or when registration reaches capacity.
